CUSTOM GREASEPROOF PAPER
DEKXELS | THE HAGUE

The Hague based restaurant, Dekxels, commissioned us to create custom greaseproof paper that could compliment their signature Asian fusion dishes. Since the greaseproof paper needed to be served with multiple dishes from their menu, Dekxels inquired to create a design that could work in different sizes. With this in mind, JAN WILLEM designed a crane with a pine tree background. With this functional design, the 20x20 cm. greaseproof paper can be used as a whole or can be cut in half or quarters and still compliment the aesthetics of the dishes. Fun fact: the pine tree in the background of the design is a nod to Dekxels’ location; the restaurant’s street is called ‘Dennenlaan’ which is Dutch for ‘Pine Lane’.
